Management Interface Feature Summary
Simple configuration and management of Angel Light displays is via a web-based interface:
Platform independent - web-based configuration and management allow Angel Light displays to be managed from Windows, Mac or Linux environments
Security - all communications between displays and management points are encrypted using the same highly secure technology as on-line banks
No extra software - the web-based interface allows all management functions to be performed with no additional software required
Remote management from anywhere via the internet. Can also use FTP, mirroring or be integrated into other systems.
Networking
Standard Network Protocols - content is transferred between Angel Light players using industry standard TCP/IP networking
Secure transfer - the traffic between players is authenticated and encrypted.
Groups - displays can be grouped allowing different playlists
Bandwidth control - Angel Light incorporates a band-width restriction system to prevent the transfer of content between players slowing down other connections
Failure recovery - failure to receive updates is recorded so that data can be re-sent

Reflectors
A unique feature of the Angel Light management system is the ability to speed up roll out of content to multiple sites by using the players as relays or reflectors. Content is delivered to a number of 'reflector' players which in turn transfer the data to the rest of the players. By using spare upload capacity, the cost of ownership of the network can be significantly reduced when compared with most media delivery systems.
Security
Angel Light has a hardened and secure operating system which allows it to be connected directly to the internet without the need for additional security such as a firewall.
Hardware
Angel Light displays are appliance grade, solid state units which can be switched off whilst running without operating system corruption and will resume playback once powered back on.
