The AD Series just got better!   The summer has seen the launch of the long-awaited 32” media player display PLUS the arrival of a whole new range of network-connected displays in time for autumn and Christmas retail campaigns. 

 

We’ve delivered a number of custom AD Series projects recently including an exciting development with one of the UK’s leading leisure entertainment channels.  There will be more on this shortly.  In the meantime, don’t forget that the AD Series can be customised for volume requirements – just let us know what you need.

Introducing the Network Connected Angel Light

 

They’re new, they’re exciting and they’re available now!  Our new range of fully integrated network-connectable displays make their debut this month and we’ve christened them Angel Light. 

 

Based on the AD Series design, the Angel Light series of network connected displays are self-contained, processor-driven LCD screens providing an unbeatable combination of features, networking flexibility, management options and cost advantages.

  • Angel Light displays combine screen, processor and cabling in an off-the-shelf retail solution.  Space requirements are reduced; installation, cabling and servicing costs are minimised; issues configuring players to screens are removed
  • Angel Light offers the ultimate in networking flexibility with internet and ADSL interfaces as standard and wi-fi as an optional extra.
  • Management of Angel Light installations is via an easy-to-use web interface.  There’s no software required, it’s platform independent (Windows, Mac, Linux), highly secure and can be accessed from anywhere via the Internet.
  • Angel Light displays allow you to use almost any digital format to create feature-rich, compelling content.  Use video, stills, Flash and slideshows with overlay effects, transitioning and captions.  With an internet connection, add live web pages; with a custom Freeview option, add live digital TV.

AD Series Interactive

 

Adding interactivity to your AD Series display turns it from a broadcast display to one where a customer can make choices about what information to view.  Interactive features can deliver store guides, product selectors or catalogues.  They can bring a customer several steps closer to a brand or a product and actively engage their interest and participation.  Interactive AD Series displays have been particularly successful in environments such as concessions where staff time can be limited and product ranges complex.  Waiting areas are also a good choice with customers having a little extra time to spend. 

 

AD Series Interactive units retain all the features of the broadcast media player range and have two levels of interactivity available. For a small extra cost per unit, Level One Interactive allows a customer to make a single level selection about what content to view, so for example you could display an option to view 6 different product demonstrations, see details on 8 different houses for sale or choose which of the top 10 movie trailers to watch.   Selection input for up to 10 choices can be via touchscreen, push button, barcode scanner or other input interface.   Level One Interactive also allows a motion sensor to be attached to the display, activating content playback when motion is detected and ceasing playback when no motion has been detected for a specified period.

 

Level Two Interactive supports multi-level content, allowing customers to make multiple levels of choices.  Selection input can be via touchscreen, push button or barcode scanner to access up to 1000 pieces of content.  Full interactive players are ideal for applications such as product selectors where several levels of selections need to be made.

 

AD Series Interactive is available on all AD Series units from 10” – 32”.  Currently touchscreens are only standardly available for 10”, 15” and 20” units unless required in volume.
